Phew that was a tough one! 

Very motivated opposition and unseasonable hot weather! 2008 was a mud bath and 2009 a blood bath for the Fury reinforced “Blues.”

It certainly turned out to be a game of two halves. The Reds very much had the upper hand in the morning. Constant pressure and solid play resulting in two clear overruns and lots of points. “What do points make?” 

It turn out "Very little" as sadly for them they ran out of steam at about 11:30. From hence forth the boot was well and truly on the other foot. The Blues regrouped and gave the Reds a jolly good shooing. Only “The Wild Geese” invulnerable (do not ask) reinforcements stopped a total rout.

Net result, a clear “Blue” victory. Job done! 

To top things off our very own Vyyrus won “Most honorable player” of the day. Good work fella. Who would have thought it.
