And The Chap concluded

“Not much I can really add to Mr c0axial concise summary. But here goes....

A Fantastic paintball weekend (dare I say it the best yet). Thanks to Shoreline (plus family) and Prozone (absolutely cracking site and staff) for pulling it all together.

Saturday was grand, a chilled day with plenty of opportunity to chat to friends combined with a heady mix of fireballs, air-soft, charity, sneaking about in the dark, glow sticks and parachute flares.

and Sunday... Sunday.... We had costumes (hats off, or is that on, to Yorky's heroes), sniping, firefights, surprises, metre high grass, unexpected guests, flanking, digging in, last ditch suicidal charges plus much much more.

Nice. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Check out Wedding Day - The Divorce! (Aftermath) and Blow up a car at Wedding day..! NOW FULL for more opinions and japes.

SHORELINE Sword and The Rings @ Powerplay, September 12/13th 2009

Words by Chapper and Some bloke called TIM ..

Under our very own Sparkys leadership the Orc Faction played a pivotal role in supplying a good old fashioned ass whooping as the Evil Faction (Red) clobbered the Good Faction (Blue) 3738 points to 865.

Initially Tasked with taking and holding Helms Deep, Fury proved their worth yet again. Timboy (of Shoreline) please continue in your own words:

"The first points scoring period at 10:15 saw Reds take an earlier lead as they captured the Stargate and Helms Deep, whilst Blue's took Rohan. Half an hour later Reds scored again by holding onto Helms Deep with the points at 11:00 being shared with the Reds taking the Stargate and Blues holding Rohan.

Blues then moved into the lead at 11:30 as they held Rohan and Camalot with Reds taking less points for the Stargate and Helms Deep. Again, Blues scored big at noon by holding Camalot with Reds picking up some crumbs at Helms Deep.

So by lunch time, Blues were ahead in terms of territory points, despite Reds holding large areas of the field. It was a classic case of quality over quantity with Reds holding large areas but for low points and blue holding less of the field but for more points.

A swing, and decisive counter swing after lunch had a massive effect on the game. The Blues finally managed to dislodge the Reds from Helms Deep"

We should point out that Team Fury had popped back to the safe zone for a much needed cup of tea. Honestly you turn your back for five minutes!

"....and drove all the way onto Mordor, capturing Mordor and also holding onto Rohan. Blues were ahead on the scores and had effectively just managed to drive the Reds off the field just shortly before a series of big points periods were available for the Reds. All Blue had to do was to hold the territory they had just won and deny the points to Reds to ensure they maintained their lead."

We finished our cups of tea and joined the rest of the Red team on the field at this point.

"However, a massive moment came in the game at 12:44. The Reds surged back into the field in a desperate attempt to re-take their home base of Mordor with only a couple of minutes left before the points period. The Blues were hanging onto Mordor for dear life with Andy Sables at the coal face as the last man of defence. Driving the 100 or so Reds forward was Al Murray - volume set to 11. With 60 seconds left to go, the Reds managed to break into the base, raise the flag and win the points to bring them back level on points. On such fine margins are games lost and won. It was a brilliant moment from both sides with epic Rourke's Drift style defence and irresistible surging attack.

Reds held Mordor to pick up another bumper points period which moved them back into the lead. Thereafter the points at the Stargate and Rohan were evenly shared between the teams - Helms Deep became the fulcrum of the late battles. Reds held Helm Deep for the rest of the day despite some epic battles in the last half hour thereby extending their lead.

Territory wise, it had been close, with Mordor being the turning point and Helms Deep also doing damage. The territory points were Red - 2600 and Blue 1550.

Each team had a special VIP mission during the day. Each side had to protect and escort a VIP back to the main staging area for 500 points. The opposition side had to send an assassination squad to shoot the VIP to deny the points to the other side. Reds successfully escorted their VIP back AND also successfully assassinated the VIP. They earned 500 points whilst the blues earned nil."

At Als request Fury spread out identified the VIP. Eliminating him before the Blue team even got close.

The number of kills that each side had recorded against them was subtracted from their over all score. Red had 1062 kills subtracted from their score and Blue 1805 from theirs.

The finishing points were Red 3738 and Blue 865.

The key points were the extra 1000 that Red earned for the VIP and Rings and also the fact that they held Helms Deep for longer during the day. Had Blue held Mordor for another minute or so - that could also have made a difference."

SHORELINE Armo-Geddon 4 - The Beginning @ YPC, July 19th 2009

Possibly one of the best games I have ever played.

Had it all, lots of attacking and defending, flanking. lightening raids, coordinated moves forward. Everything I got into paintballing for.

Safety was premium, marshaling present but not stifling, site had it all; bunkers, pits, plenty of green cover... I cannot praise YPC and Shoreline more highly.

The bridge is a terrifying structure. Great "piece de resistance." Respect to the brave souls from Blue team who just kept on attacking despite the constant rain of paintballs and paintball spray. Ouch!

Atmosphere was very positive all day, respect to the blues for taking their defeat with honor. I look forward to the rematch in 2010.

Thanks and Greets too the Guys at Shoreline, YPC, All the Players.. and especially too BraNewbs for the Pictures, more too follow ;)

Bunker Assault 2.1 - Bunker CQB Game, April 12/13th 2009

Such an awesome game!

Shoreline - Against All Odds - Walkon Game, Feburary 8th 2009

A strong Fury contingent helped ensure a clear 3-1 victory for the UK Scenario Team Vs Everyone Else at the Shoreline Against all Odds Game @ Bawtry on the 8th Feb 2009.

Complementing the leadership of Tippmann Scotlands, Al “The General” Murray

Fury’s lethal combination of firepower and experience proved invaluable, despite being outnumbered 141 "Everyone Else" vs. 42 "UKST".

Team Fury would like to thank all our fellow “UKST” players and of course “Everyone Else” who played with honour and provided plenty of excellent target practice!

Roll  on the Wild Geese Game. We are just warming up.

Bullswood Skirmish - EverWar - Scenario Game, March 22th 2009

Phew that was a tough one!

Very motivated opposition and unseasonable hot weather! 2008 was a mud bath and 2009 a blood bath for the Fury reinforced “Blues.”

It certainly turned out to be a game of two halves. The Reds very much had the upper hand in the morning. Constant pressure and solid play resulting in two clear overruns and lots of points. “What do points make?”

It turn out "Very little" as sadly for them they ran out of steam at about 11:30. From hence forth the boot was well and truly on the other foot.
The Blues regrouped and gave the Reds a jolly good shooing. Only “The Wild Geese” invulnerable (do not ask) reinforcements stopped a total rout.

Net result, a clear “Blue” victory. Job done!

To top things off our very own Vyyrus won “Most honorable player” of the day. Good work fella. Who would have thought it. 8-)
